The Polar Explore

The Explorer II began life in 1971 as a watch for spelunking and other adventurers who needed to know the 24hr time when spending prolonged periods in the dark. The Swiss Made designated dial remains in perfect condition with crisp text and black applied hour marker surrounds with matching black hands. The case remains in outstanding condition and the fixed bezel is also lovely, with the black paint still intact in the markers and numbers. The case has drilled lug holes, which is a great quasi-vintage look. The 78790 bracelet is in very good condition with a clasp stamped ‘AB 9’ and solid endlinks.

We believe that this is one of the best value Rolex sports watches in the market at the moment. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
