Behind Balance & Hairspring are two friends based in Stockholm with a shared passion for vintage watches. One is a trained watchmaker with more than 15 years of experience in retail, the other working in finance and has been an avid watch collector for more than a decade.

After years of collecting on our own we came to the conslusion that we had the same mindset regarding vintage watchmaking and appreciation for the craftsmanship behind it. After some late nights contemplating we decided to take the step to start our own business with a mission to provide you with the finest vintage watches.

We both realised that in order to be as passionate about dealing watches as about our own collecting, we aim to only buy and sell watches that represent our own personal taste and style.
